It's been very obvious that this blog has been abandoned. Here is my quick explanation. One day, I decided I wanted a place for me to share my feelings about religion, atheism, and science. I had hoped that some random stranger might stumble upon it on occasion and that one of two things might happen. If a theist come along, I hoped I might plant a seed of doubt. I know that's all it took for me. If an atheist came along, I'd hoped they'd be satisfied by my views, and maybe felt some companionship with me through this awesome thing called 'the internet'. I settled on a blog name and typed my first posts.
Then Twitter happened. I occasionally dabbled on Twitter, but wasn't following anyone that interesting, so I rarely checked it. After posting my blog, I figured I may as well try and nab the Twitter name that went along with it. I quickly discovered @GSpellchecker, @MrOzAtheist, and @AtheistMel. I tweeted my first blog posts, and @MrOzAtheist retweeted it, with a recommendation. I gained about 150 followers on my first day, and I was sold. I found an awesome community of atheists from all over the world who make me laugh, educate me, entertain me, and inspire me every day. I go through spells where I don't tweet much, but I don't go a day without catching up with my timeline. It's awesome to know I'm not alone, and that some people find me insightful or amusing.
Anyways, the blog was pretty much immediately abandoned. Twitter filled the need I had to share my opinions with other people. However, I've gotten to the point where 140 characters isn't quite enough.
The Lil Miss Atheist Blog is alive once more.
